Taiko Experience with Myoko Local Team

Try your hand at taiko, a traditional Japanese performing art, with a taiko drumming team based in Myoko Kogen! Under the instruction of the team, you will actually play and practice the taiko drums, and perform together in the traditional costume at the end of the class.

This activity is also a program to support the local taiko team which had toured abroad several times in the past, but has become less active due to a decline of the number of performers.  Your participation will help raise the awareness of the culturally important asset in the local community.

• Afternoon tour (1:30pm~4:00pm) -Weekends only
• Evening tour  (5:30pm~8:00pm)

Optional: Dinner in the Myoko Kogen area after the activity (Sushi, Izakaya, Okonomiyaki, etc.)
