Tour Details

Discover the artistry of Myoko through a creative workshop guided by a local embroidery artist known for her handmade textile works.

Choose your start time: 10:00 am, 11:00 am, or 12:00 pm

1.  Meet with the artist and hear about her life as an artist in Myoko

2. Craft workshop
Participants can choose between two traditional crafts:

A. Tsumami Zaiku (Fabric Flower Art):
Learn how to fold small squares of kimono fabric into elegant flower-shaped accessories such as earrings, hairpins, or brooches.
Create your own unique piece and take it home in a small gift box.

B. Yuzen Hand-Painting (+¥1,000):
Experience tegaki yuzen, Japan’s traditional hand-painting technique used to decorate kimono fabric.
Paint your own original design using brushes and vivid textile paints on a business card case or small pouch, expressing the seasonal beauty of Myoko and Japan.

3. Gallery tour / Artwork exhibition

Your finished piece becomes a one-of-a-kind keepsake from Japan.

A portion of the workshop fee supports her local art classes for children in Myoko, helping to nurture the next generation of young creators.
